Regular Weekly Programme

• Our regular weekly schedule is below, but remember that this could be disrupted by a special event - so check here or the club noticeboards: special events will be advertised in both of these places.
• If you have a partner, then you can just turn up (before 7.30pm please), except on Fridays. Even if you want to play on a Friday, it's worth calling to find out whether any of our house teams are short of a player or two.
• If you don't have a partner then on Thursdays you can just turn up. On other days, give us some advance warning and we'll do our best to find you a partner (as a last resort, there may well be somebody else who needs a partner if you just turn up before play starts, but we can't make any promises!)

Monday 1.00p.m.	Supervised Play A gentle afternoon of supervised bridge for the less experienced player. Please phone in advance, as this does not run every Monday.
Monday 7.30p.m.	Handicapped Duplicate Pairs Our busiest night, aimed at more experienced players. There are prizes for players who do best over a 12-week session, but you don't need to play all 12 weeks ! Each week, if you win either before or after handicap, you get a free game.*
Thursday 7.30p.m.	Prize Duplicate Pairs A fun evening for players of all standards, and partners are guaranteed. If you win after handicap, you get a free game.* Also, there is a kitty to be won for any club member who achieves a natural percentage of 70% or greater and wins the event (when 5 or more tables are in play). Beginner Lessons In the back room - lessons are now underway, check back soon for details of this years course which is scheduled to begin September 2008.
Friday 7.30p.m.	House Teams League Informal pivot teams league: you play 8 boards with each other member of your team. (Normally just multiple teams throughout the summer months).
Saturday 7.30p.m. (Occasionally)	Bridge & Supper Occasionally, a bridge and supper evening is held.. Pre-entry is essential (sign up at the club or phone the manager). No partner necessary.
