Latest Results ...

Raw results and travellers get loaded here (manually) for most pairs events (using Stephen Bligh's ScoreBridge software). If the event is handicapped, then these will usually be available on the same page (below the raw results). It can take a few days so please be patient.

Click on the link to display them. Hand records are also available if the hands have been pre-dealt and the scorer has remembered to include them in the results :-)

Monday Handicap League

Gareth is now able to provide a spreadsheet with the latest results of the Monday Handicap League. Each week, he takes the results after handicap, and manually assigns each player a score based on their position (after handicap). 1st place gets 25 pts, 2nd gets 22 pts, 3rd gets 20 pts, 4th gets 19 pts, 5th gets 18pts etc., all the way down to 22nd place which gets 1 pt.

The event runs over 12 weeks and final placings are based on a player's best 8 scores out of the 12 possible. Prizes are awarded for the top places. For more information or if you have spotted an error that needs to be corrected, please speak to Gareth directly.

Wednesday Ladder

The club also run a Wednesday ladder. Again, Gareth provides a spreadsheet for the website. According to the spreadsheet, you must play at least 6 times on a Wednesday during the 10 week period to qualify for a prize and the best 6 scores count. It isn't clear how the prize money is worked out - presumably it is based on the number of tables. Speak to Gareth if you want to know more.
