  • Christmas Party photos and hands

Of the 22 boards played at the Christmas event on 17 December, 14 were computer-dealt in the normal way and the printed hand record is correct. The remaining eight were 'adjusted' before play and the hand record for them is not correct; these were boards 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 17, 19 and 22. The true record for those hands is available on request from Marc Lee. Because some hands were 'fixed' these have been removed from Pianola and the EBU. The results file is now available here. Thanks are due to Jen and Laurie, the main organisers of the event. Congratulations also to Ron for winning... read more...

Because of the teams format you cannot turn up on the night and expect to get a game. However, you do not need to form your own team: if you want to play on this evening - either as a single player or as a pair - please get in... read more...

Our hosts Golden Hill Sports have applied for an Aviva Community Fund grant to fund the replacement of the currently unusable balcony. Putting the balcony back into use is something the West of England strongly supports, and if Golden Hill get this grant, it will free up further money to get on with renovating the rest of the building. Voting is now closed, and the results have just been published on the Aviva website. The balcony project attracted the highest number of votes in all categories,... read more...
